Note

The yellow dress the subject is wearing was made from the peignoir set made by her great-grandmother, Fawn Parent Wilkerson, for her daughter's trousseau in 1953. The ruffles with feather-stitching on the peignoir and gown were used on the dress. The chair the subject is sitting on originally belonged to Tennessee Governor Robert Love Taylor. It was a part of his set of dining room chairs.
