Note

William Percy Pillow was born on September 10, 1872, in Maury County to Col. James Smith Ridley and Annie Pillow Ridley. He married Eva Campbell James in 1904 and the pair had at least 2 children. Apparently, his baptismal record lists his middle name as Percy while his death certificate and his son's WWII draft registration card list it as Pillow. He died in 1949 and is buried in Rose Hill Cemetery.
