JoeAnn Cousino majored in art at the University of Toledo. She was a founding member and later a president of the Toledo Potters' Guild. She concentrated on sculpture (ceramic and bronze) but also did interior decoration, fashion design, jewelry, ceramics, painting, and architecture. Her sculptures are in many public and private spaces in northwest Ohio as well as in other states and countries. Notably, her “Woman with the Birds” sculpture is displayed at the Toledo Botanical Garden.
