1915-1989 Former ODC President (1964-65) Lin studied ceramics at the University of Washington in the mid-1950s and then moved to Athens, Ohio, in 1959. He started the ceramics program at Ohio University, eventually becoming dean of the Fine Arts College. Henry and his wife, Julia Lin are the parents of artist Maya Lin.
