45th Division News Vol. V No. 25 "What is your superstition? I'm superstitious about this squad whistle of mine. I picked it up at a West Coast POE but I didn't think I'd have much use for it overseas. Then, I found it was just the thing to get details together on the troop ship. So I hung on to it. When it got me through the Pacific theater in one piece, I began to believe it was my good luck piece. When it got me rotated back to the States, I was more sure of it. I've still got it with me here in France, and I'm banking on it to bring me home in a hurry."Made/Created
