The date, the banknote numbers and signatures are printed in black. On the left above the signature of the Treasurer, a medallion with the profile portrait of Queen Elizabeth II and on the right, above the signature of the Governor, a medallion with the portrait of King Albert II. In the center, an allegory of abundant Belgium symbolized by a woman lying among flowers and fruit near a still smoking censer
Reverse
Description
All texts are printed in Dutch. Composition almost identical to the back, but the medallions this time contain a BNB monogram. Bottom center, a Belgian lion in a medallion above the label of the issuing institute "NATIONALE BANK VAN BELGIE". In the center of the vignette, a woman and a man lying down symbolize the Meuse and the Scheldt. A child standing and holding a fish in his hands evokes the Albert Canal.
