"Happy Easter"
Dear Dad, Sis and all:
Hope you folks haven't been worrying any about me. We in reserve now came back yesterday, or rather, that's when we got here. Thye made us run a 3 day problem to get back here. You talk about climbing hills, we sure done our share of it. How's everything back there? Okay I hope. We've had pretty nice weather here- until yesterday it rained. But, to-day it is nice again. It should be just right back there now. Trees are green, wheat is coming up. Man how I long to be there. Maybe I'll get out of here this month or maybe next month. Sure hope to get out of here this month though. No more times on the front- suit me fine.
Sis, have you heard from that man of yours anymore? Better get after him. Next time you write him, tell him I said hello and that I'd sure like to have him here enjoying this nice vacation with me. Say, the way dad talks, that rusty is getting onery as all heck. About now she should be giving Sue and Jack a little trouble, shouldn't she? Well folks, I'm not much of a letter writer so I'll close for now. Maybe more next time. Be good and be careful.
"Love Always"
