Plate with beveled rim and shallow base. In the center, a "M" monogram is engraved. Material could be aluminum, a metal LV used around WWII. Markings omit the word 'pewter' that he usually incorporated into the majority of his pewter pieces, leading to the consideration that this may be aluminum. In addition, LV also carried a lighter post-war 1930's, "Berkeley" pewter line, although these were normally marked as such.Lexicon
