Rectangular pewter box with detachable lid. (a) Top has slightly domed rectangular top with a 3/8" wide flat band along the edges. Inner lip of top slants inward at end. Can still see tool marks from making the domed decoration of the lid. (b) Base of box has gadrooning band at top for decoration.
