Description

Commemorative pewter plate, 1976. Mfgd. by F.B. Rogers, Taunton. (a) Circular commemorative pewter plate. Narrow brim has rolled under edge. "United States of America Bicentennial 1776 1976" with 13-star banner and two olive leave sprigs stamped onto shallow well. (b) Rectangular clear plastic bag with tarnish resistant coating. 2 white boxes one with information the other has "F.B. Rogers Silver Company, Inc." and trademark in red. (c) Square hinged paper box. Red, white, and blue lid with white satin lining stamped: "1776-1976 Bicentennial Commemorative Plate by F.B. Rogers Silver Company," in gold script. Blue velvet cornered insert for plate in other half of box.
