Card mounted black and white studio photographic print 6 inches x 7 3/4 inches, showing head and torso of an East Sussex Constabulary constable wearing a closed collar tunic with the number "121". On the rear of the photograph is written "P.C. 121 Walter Guy Paviour".
Context
Walter Guy Paviour joined East Sussex Constabulary on 9th December 1930 and was issued with the number 121. He served in the force during the Second World War and continued to do so until at least 1959. This photograph is believed to date from the 1930s and may even commemorate his actual joining in 1930.
