Photograph. Hotel Byron , Bellingham WA. Original hotel was built in 1899, by Josiah Byron, and was known as the Byron House Hotel. In 1910, Leopold Schmidt bought the hotel, and manager Henry Schupp renamed it the Hotel Leopold.
