Description

Stereograph. 7 x 4 overall, but in 2 pieces. Originally was 2 separate full-size stereographs, but has been cut in half. Each half shows a different view of the Deschutes River and falls. One half by C. J. Huntington, General Photograher, Olympia. Other by Huntington Bros, Olympia. Back of photos, when pieced together, reads: "Falls of Tumwater. Tumbling water. The Falls of Tumwater are situated at the head of tide water of Puget Sound, on the De Chutes River, are one of the finest water powers in the world, situated about one and a half miles south of the city of Olympia, Washington Territory."
