Negative, sheet film. 4 x 5 b&w. The Flyer, part of the Mosquito Fleet of small ships that carried passengers and freight around Puget Sound. The Flyer was built in Portland OR in 1891, and served on Puget Sound until 1929. She reportedly ran more miles at high speed than any other inland vessel in the world. After years on the Sound, and a stint in the Navy, she was finally burned in 1929. Her whistle survives on another Mosquito Fleet ship, the Viriginia V.Name/Title
