Negative, sheet film. 2 x 3 b&w. Oregon Trail monument commemorating the arrival of the Bush-Simmons-Kindred wagon train in the Tumwater area, 1845. Stone and plaque were erected according to the wishes of Leopold Schmidt. Photo shows monument at its original location near Simmons Road; today it resides along the Deschutes River in Tumwater Falls Park.Name/Title
