Four page letter written on two sheets of paper connected together. The first page is lined with faint blue lines. The letter is addressed "Pocotaligo S. C. Jan. 19th /65, Beloved Brother" and signed "Resp Yours, Orlando, Pocotaligo S.C." Written on the bottom of the last page and circled "Direct to Beaufort, South Carolina". Written in the bottom right corner of the last page, sideways, "Excuse these mistakes for I am little deranged to day. But every thing is lovely when the sun hangs high."Collection
