Scope and Content

Four pages of correspondence on a single sheet of lined, folded paper. The letter is addressed "Colby, Oct 2nd, 1900, Dear Sister" and is signed on page four (opposite page one unfolded) "Good day, with love to all, PJ Johnson". It talks about Hattie going back to school, Clay's lame leg, a wedding someone is attending, the receiver is thinking of moving and the writer doesn't think Willis would get along anywhere else because of his deafness. BC2010.022.620B is the envelope which is badly discolored and stained. It is addressed to "Mrs Agnes L. Fowler, Brothertown, Calumet Co., Wis" with a single 2 cent stamp.
