Four pages of correspondence on a single sheet of folded paper. The ink is black and addressed "Missoriaa [sic], June 12/1864, Dear Wife" and is signed "Tho Keevill, Benton Barracks Ward 7 post hospital St. Louis, Missourira [sic], send a stamp if you can the next letter". It talks about how he's been sick for three weeks, but expects to either be sent to the barracks tomorrow or the general hospital. He doesn't have small pox and believes the war will end in the fall. He talks a lot about furlough.Collection
