Two identical black and white photographs of Herman Niles standing behind the headstone of "Patience Seketter, Died Feb 22, 1875, Aged 81 Yrs 10M's". To the right of the headstone (left in picture) is a chest high stone wall. Arthur Potter is leaning against a young tree in the background. Herman Niles is wearing a light colored, long-sleeve shirt under overalls and a hat and Arthur Potter is wearing dark long-sleeve jacket and pants and a hat. Written in black ink on the back of BC2010.022.058A "Herman Niles at the grave of his great grandmother. She was the mother of David Fowler,-- and last David. Patience Dick married James Fowler and John Seketer came to Wis. in 1834 as a widow with 10 children" and in a different ink on the bottom "OCt 2, 1934- O.E. Heller". Third black and white photograph is and enlarged photo of this image picturing just Herman Niles behind the headstone of Patience Seketer. Mismarked as copy of BC2010.022.059, but it is a copy of this. Not renumbering things, just adding a C to this entry.
