Four pages of correspondence on a single sheet of folded paper. The letter is addressed "Camped 2 Mile S.E. of Town, Gouldsboro March 28th /65, Esteamed [sic] Brother" and signed on the fourth page "remaining as ever, Orlando Dick, Gouldsboro, N.C., E.M. Dick, Brothertown. Direct Couldsboro, N.C., Peach trees are in full bloom, down this way". The army is four days on the march so are ragged and tired. They marched a lot but didn't fight until March 21st and 22nd which was the Battle of Brownsville.Collection
