Two page correspondence written on two separate pieces of paper both with letterhead that reads "Warren W. Waffle, Dealer in Dry goods, Groceries, Boots, Shoes, Confectionery, Cigars, Stationery Etc., Kendall, Wis". The letter is addressed "Sept. 2, 1896, Mr L. H. Waffle, Borhtertown, Wisc, Kind Sir". The letter talks about coming across soldiers in WI with the name of Waffle and is inquiring if they may be distant relatives. It is signed "Yours truly, Warren W. Waffle". BC2010.022.348.16B is the envelope it came in addressed to Mr. L.H. Waffle Esq, Brothertown Wis. from Warren W. Waffle, Dealer in General Merchandise, Kendall, Wisconsin.
