The front side has United States of America, Department of the Interior, Bureau of Pensions letterhead with a woman holding a board on top of an American flag draped over a canon with two lambs standing in front of the canon and a pile of canon balls behind the woman. It informs Charlotte Keevill that she will receive the full mention for her husband Thomas Keevill who was a Private in the Wis. Volunteer Inf. due to the Act of June 27, 1890. She will receive $8 a month starting from August 4, 1890 until she is no longer a widow. The back is a cover page stating what it is and includes the revisions to the Act that will allow her to get the pension. There is also a stamp/seal in the top right corner on the cover page side.
