Four pages of correspondence on a single small sheet of paper that is folded. The letter is addressed to "I___ Ap. 22d, 1865, Ed:" and signed on the fourth page "Well no more, write soon. my respects to all, yours truly, A.G.D., Direct to A.G. Durochie, Box 1458, Indianapolis, Ind." The writing goes straight across pages 2 and 3 rather than sticking to one page at a time, so the entire back side of the unfolded paper is used as a single page. The writer talks about drills and hanging not being a bad sentence for the "Assassinators". He ends by telling the receiver of father's (Abreham) movement from Washington to Springfield, when and where he travels in between.Collection
