Four page correspondence written on a single sheet of folded, lined paper. The letter is addressed "Colby Wis, Mch 5, 1884, Friend and Bro" and is signed on the fourth page (opposite the first page) "yours G.S. Johnson". It talks about his recruitment into the order and getting his password. There is a stamp in the top left corner of the first page that looks like a badge with a circle in the middle.
BC2010.022.604B is the envelope the letter came in . There is a 1.5 cent Harding stamp in the middle of the envelope over the name it is addressed to along with a two cent stamp in the right corner. It was sent to E.M Dick, Brothertown, Calumet Co., Wis. from Colby and received in Fond du Lac the next day.Collection
