Three page correspondence on a single sheet of folded, lined paper. The last page is nearly blank except for "Address, Melville Johnson, Colby, Wis." The letter is addressed "Colby Wis, May 13th 1885, Well old Stocking". There is a stamp in the top left corner of the first page that says "JUNEAU". The ink is a faded black almost brown color and is faded badly in parts. The letter is signed on the third page "so good day, M. Johnson, to James".Collection
