21 sheets of paper with hand written notes in pencil. Most only have writing on the front but a few have shorts notes on the back (included in scan). The pages are numbered along the top edge in the middle. The first lines of the first page are X'd out but start "Calumet County has many beautiful spots but in my opinion none can compare to the view that you have from the top of the hill on Route 151..." The date April 24/40 is at the top of the first page. Each page has three holes punched in them to place in a binder. It seems to be a history of the tribe from the very beginning. It ends with "Thus we leave them sincerely hoping that they have found the justice and peace for which they so long sought in that land far beyond the setting sun". It is signed at the bottom of the last page "5/9/40 OH."Collection
