Remnants of an envelope with penciled writing on both sides. One side reads "Powhatans, 32 tribes, spread over Virgina [sic] when first discovered by -- & English". On the same side of the envelope is a circular stamp that reads "Brothertown Wis." with a number in the middle. The other side reads "let me sleep there tonight" and upside down is "Mohawk, Seneca, Onondagas, Cayuga, Onida [sic], Shawane, Six Nations".
