Scope and Content

Single sheet of partially lined paper folded in half to create four pages of correspondence. The letter is addressed "New Albany Dec. 3rd /62. Dear Brother" and is signed "Your brother Edgar M. Dick, To Assa Dick". On the last page (opposite first page when unfolded) written upside down is "To Assa Dick From Edgar M. Dick of W. W. J." The letter talks about his wound (see BC2010.022.461), how a furlough is forbidden at that time, and the boat built where he is at and what it weighs and what it is carrying. All the soldiers are waiting to hear from the president.
