Single page correspondence written on State of Wisconsin, Office of State Treasurer, Madison paper. There are two connected pages, but content and treasurer stamp are only on the first page. The letter is addressed "May 14th 1859,O D. Fowler Esq, Brothertown, Dear Sir, Yours of the 12th with enclosure as stated is at hand. Enclosed please find REceipts for $21. I would also notify you that the time for which your loan was granted expired on the 16th of March last and the Commissioners have been directed to call in the University Fund Loans as they become due. The payment of your loan for this year secures you until the 1st of Jany 1860. But at that time full payment may be demanded. Yours truly, Sam Heasting, State Treasurer."Collection
