Scope and Content

Single sheet of paper folded in half to create four pages of correspondence. The letter is addressed "Brothertown May 28th 1863, F. Gale". It talks about trying to sell a lot on behalf of Frederick Gale, but the buyer doesn't want to because of a judgment against him and the lot as well as unpaid taxes. The writer is trying to settle all of this and sell it to another person. There was a deed included in a previous letter. It is signed I remane [sic] yours O.D Fowler, Brothertown".
