Two black and white photos of an elder woman sitting in a wood chair. She is wearing a printed button up blouse with a
collar. Her hair is short. There appears to be a blurry structure in the background.
BC2010.022.073A has a white border around the image. Written in black ink on the back is "Grace Dick Jacques,
granddaughter of the first settler at Brothertown".
BC2010.022.073B does not have the white border and is framed in a silver dusted wood frame. Handle with care, unsure
what the silver dusting is. The frame is too large for the photograph so the photograph is tilted on an angle. The back is a
green cardboard and written in ink at the bottom is "The Last Civil War Widow, Sept 1, 1938".Photograph Details
