Written in ink on the first two blank pages "Present from Elder Richard Griffin to the members of the Baptist Church, in Brothertown, W.I. Pierievill, May 1st 1841." Written in different ink "Given to Otto E. Heller by Harriet Johnson, July 1936. Elder Richard Griffin tried to reorganize the Baptist church about this time '1841' but with not much success, O.E.H."
Insect damage on front cover in the middle. The book is worn around the edges and the covers are detaching from use and possible insect damage along the spine. The pages are intact, just discolored.Collection
