Four page correspondence on a single sheet of lined paper. In the top margin of the first page is a bird on a branch with a nest and eggs in it. The letter is addressed "Colby April 13 1886, Dear sister" and is signed on the fourth page (opposite the first page) "please write soon, P.J. Johnson".
BC2010.022.594B is the envelope it came in which is yellow in color and is addressed "Mrs Agnes L. Fowler, Brothertown, Calumet Co, Wis." and says "From Jane Telling about Leo" but this seems to be in different handwriting and is in pencil at the top of the envelope. There is a two cent stamp in the corner.Collection
