Black and white photograph of a group of loggers. 19 people in total with two women and a few young boys. There are also six horses among the group. In the back are two log buildings the left one smaller than the right. There are multiple stumps in front of the group.
The photograph is mounted on a matte backing. Written in black ink on the back is "O.G. Fowler, C. Hammer. J. Tyler. 50 men. C. Hammer with team beside bunk house. Jean Tyler with borred? jacket in front of wom. O.G. Fowler next to the man with the saw. Camp on Evergreen River=1900. Menominee Indian Reservation. Employed about 50 men. Two Indian women were cooks."
The back of the matte board is badly stained with water spots and ink stains. The matte has also been bent and shows small creases across it. Three of the corners are missing. The photograph is faded or poorly developed with many stains across it. The darkest stain is in the top right corner and there are multiple stains near the bottom edge.Collection
