Four page correspondence on a single sheet of paper folded in half. The first page has faint blue lines. The letter is addressed "Camped near Petersburg, Va. Tuesday July 5th A.D. 1864. Friend Abba:" and is signed "I am forever your friend J.W. Dick" and in the bottom left corner of the last page in a small drawn box "Miss Abba L. Fowler, Brothertown Wis." and under the signature "Address Ambulance Corps, 2nd Division 2nd Army Corps, Washington D.C." He belongs to the 36th regiment Wisconsin Volunteers. There is a stamp in the top left corner of the first page of "CROTON" in a decorative oval.Collection
