Two identical black and white photographs of a man in a headdress and woodland styled beaded clothes in front of a tipi. He has wrist cuffs on that appear to be fully beaded, a vest and breech cloth with woodland flowers beaded and fringed long sleeve shirt and pants. His moccasins are also beaded. The tipi has various designs drawn on it including a figure shooting an arrow directly behind the man.
Written on BC2010.022.171B in blue ink is "Chief Decorah of the Winnebago Tribe, 1935". BC2010.022.171A is slightly darker in color or staining and seems to be on heavier cardstock.Photograph Details
