Four page correspondence on a single sheet of folded paper. The letter is addressed "Camped Near Savannah, Dec 19th /64, Dear Father and Mother". The letter is written in a brown ink. It is signed "from you son, Orlando". The writing is difficult to read but prior to the signature it says "tell Edgar to keep his nose clean, remember me to the friend that chance inquire after me".
