Four pages of correspondence on a single sheet of folded paper. Blue lines only on the first page. The letter is written in black ink. It is addressed "Rolla Mo. June 14th 1864, Friend Edgar" and is signed on the last page (opposite first page) "Mr. Edgar M. Dick, Brothertown Calumet County, Wisconsin, S. Skeesuck, ask Sam for me how Miss Vicksburg gets along now Days oh I guess not". There is also a signature on the bottom of the third page that reads "I remain yours in hash, S. Skeesuck, Co A 2nd Wis Cav, Rolla Mo. To E. M. Dick". The soldiers are as well as can be and even play ball every day and try to have a dance.Collection
