Four page correspondence on two connected pieces of paper. The fourth page is blank, only writing on first three pages. The letter is addressed "Camp 36th Wis. Vols., Near Jeffersonville Ind, July 1st 1865, Dear Friend Edgar:". It is signed on the third page "I am Verry [sic]Respectfully, Your Obedient Servant, John W. Dick, Co G 36th Wis Vols., 1st Brigade Provisional Division, Army of the Tennessee, Louisville Ky." The writing is thin and in a gray/black ink. The letter is to Edgar W. Dick, Brothertown Calumet Co, Wisconsin and this is faded to the left of the signature on the third page.Collection
