It talks about Bert's injury getting hit by a log in the back and now not able to work and how she walks 5 miles a day. The last page of correspondence is on the second piece of paper (BC2010.022.622B) with the number '2' at the top in the center. It is signed "so goodbye, Hattie, love to all". The last page talks about the birth of a boy on Jan. 9 and how the parents wanted a girl, but the baby is getting "so fat and nice".
