Description

Tintype of a middle aged man in a suit and vest with a pin on his lapel. His hair is longer and his hands appear to be in fists on his thighs. The tintype is framed with a gold metal decorative piece and is in a wood, latched book. The front cover of the book has a four pointed design with a clover in the middle. The book came in an envelope with "David Smith #47" written on it. This is most likely O.E. Heller's organization system. The front cover of the book is missing completely and the back cover is worn, especially for a spot just below the center.
