Single sheet of paper folded in half to create four pages of correspondence, last page is blank. The letter is addressed "Camp Dawson, Alabama, Sept 1st 1863. My Dear Cousin" and is signed "Please direct to Murfreesboro, Tennessee 21 regt. Wis vol, from George Samson". The company is in the mountains and wonders how long the Civil War will last.
