Black and white photo of a headstone for "Phebe wife of David Fowler died March 13, 1863, Aged 89 ys,1m.3ds." Written in black ink on the back is "Phebe Fowler wife of David Fowler Jr. who acted for many years '1797 to 1809' as clerk of the peace makers court for the Brothertown Indians at Deansville N.Y. David Fowler was born during a famine for which many Indians starved to death." And 1936 is written in the bottom left corner on the back.
