Three page correspondence on three separate pieces of paper. The first page (BC2010.022.624A) is addressed "National Home, Milwaukee Wis., Nov 25th 1906, Kind Friends" and talks about how all he has to do is eat and sleep right now but will be fitted for his uniform and then he "will be a soldier again." Page two (BC2010.022.624B) has the number 2 in the center along the top edge and talks about how his leave was sudden but he had planned it and talks about his meals each day. Page three (BC2010.022.624C) has the number 3 in the center along the top edge and hopes to hear from them soon and mentions a Caty and her best fellow being on the war path and is signed at the bottom "Sincerely yours, Oscar, National Home, Milwaukee, Wis".
BC2010.022.624D is the envelope that is addressed to "Mrs. Agnes L. Fowler, Chilton, Wis" and in the top left corner "From Osk, 1906".Collection
