Plaque: clear rectangular plaque with a bronze coin in set in it. The coin reads "Alaska, 29th State, January 3, 1959" on one side with an image of the state of Alaska over the top of the continental U.S. The flip side of the coin reads "The Seal of the State of Alaska" and depicts a scene with various landscapes and landmarks from Alaska.
