Description

Tintype of a woman in a wool shawl, hair pulled back, and hands clasped in her lap. The tintype is in a hard cover, latched book with a velvet backing opposite the tintype image. The image is framed in a gold metal material that is decorative. The hard covers have the same design of a bone shaped designed with a cross design in the center and flourishes all around. The book came in a dark brown envelope that reads "Cordelia Fowler, married Solomon Miles, #46". This is most likely O.E. Heller's organization system. The hard cover is worn in many places and the binding is cracked and fraying.
