Four page correspondence on lined notebook paper. It is addressed "Mo, Saint Louis, Benton Barax March 28th /62. Friend A.S.F." Talks about life in the soldiers camp, located 6 miles NW of the City of St. Louis on the grounds that the "rebels" held last spring. The last page is of the fair grounds at St. Louis, Mo. There is a three tier tower with an American flag on top, surrounded by stands of people and what looks like soldiers are walking in lines around the tower. It is gated with people dressed in fancy clothes on the outside of the gate looking in.Collection
