Official document-sheriffs deed. John C. Hammer Sheriff to Orsamus D. Fowler. Register's Office, Calumet County, Received for Records Feb. 27th 1854. Unsure what this really is, but it talks about Sheriff John C. Hammer recovering money from James Simons on behalf of Orsamus D. Fowler for damages. There are two sheets of blue paper that is lined and the two sheets of paper are glued together by two spots (possibly wax): one in the top left corner and one in the middle along the top edge.
