Single sheet of white paper with writing in black ink that reads "Fond du Lac, Jan 31st 1857, O.D. Fowler, Esq. Sir, I find my costs charged..." It then lists about four items and prices next tot it, but they are difficult to decipher. The bottom paragraph continues "Making a total of $151.79 which I shall expect you to pay if you make use of the Deed. Of course I shall stand ready to make everything right with W. Yale if you pay me the money. I enclose the Deed from the Sheriff" and it is signed Truly yours, and a signature that is difficult to read. This is part correspondence, part quote, categorizing it as a quote/note.Collection
