Single sheet, folded in half to create four pages of correspondence. There is a stamp on the top of page one of a man riding a horse and reads "Head Quarters, 2nd Regiment, Wis. Cavalry. Camp Washburn. Milwaukee 1862". The letter is addressed "March 11th 1862, Cousin Abba" and signed "My love to you and all enquiring [sic] friends if there should be any. Loren M. Johnson to Abba S.
